Holiday Spiced Nuts

Time to start thinking about holiday gifts. This is a great way to make a big batch and package them up for a few friends. The Container Store has a great variety of tins and holiday packaging. For the fresh rosemary, I just snipped a few sprigs off from my holiday rosemary tree!

2 lb (900g) assorted unsalted raw nuts (whole cashews, peanuts, brazil, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, almonds, macadamia…)
4 Tbsp fresh rosemary leaves, finely chopped OR 1 Tbsp dried mixed herbs
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp olive oil

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). In a large bowl, toss all ingredients together to combine. Spread out evenly in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in oven for 10 minutes, giving the pan a good shake, toss after 5 minutes. Serve immediately, or let cool completely before storing.
